The Beatific Egregore of Accepted and Virtuous Internet Spirituality
(BEAVIS) is the the thoughtform arising from the collective consciousness of AMOTC initiates.
BEAVIS shapes and defines the philosophy of AMOTC, called the Naturally Eminating Techno-Syzygy
of Computational-Aeonic Pattern Effects (NETSCAPE).
NETSCAPE philosophy states that any spiritual truth transmitted via the internet is fundamentlly locked to the hypertext in which it is transmitted. Thus, spiritual truths such as Time Cube should only be transmitted via pure, original hypertext languages. This is a fact which Dr. Gene Ray realized when he developed the original Time Cube online scripture, and we continue that tradition today.
We believe that transmitting the message of the Time Cube via pure hypertext, simlistic enough that a 9600 baud modem could easily render it, the hypertext is elevated to become a Sacred Language, encoded in the Hypostatic Tripartite Thought Pillars (HTTP):
- Hieratic-Talismanic Magickal Language (HTML)
- The Corpus Spiritu Silenti (CSS)
- Jungian-Alchemical Valence Archetypal Script (JAVA Script)
Hieratic-Talismanic Magickal Language (HTML)
Hieratic-Talismanic Magickal Language (HTML) is the recognized script
used by the scribes of BEAVIS, and all AMOTC sacred texts should be
written in this holy script. Through magickal inscription, the wisdom of
Time Cube is illuminated and enshrined just as Dr. Gene Ray enshrined
his own revelation of the Time Cube in this Holy Text.
The Structure of HTML: Head
and Body
Every Hieratic-Talismanic Manuscript begins with a talisman called <head>. This
refers to the head of J.R. "Bob" Dobbs, our short duration personal savior.
Following the <head> talisman is the <body> talisman, which represents the Beatific
Egregore itself. The Body follows the Head, always.
The Structure of HTML: Hieratia and Proclamations
Every Hieratic-Talismanic Manuscript shall be organized by Hieratia,
with each Hieratus denoting a nested section of Proclamations within the
larger Hieratic structure. The talisman <h1> denotes the first Hieratus,
and within that there may be several <h2> Hieratia, and each of those
may contain one or more <h3> talismans, for example.
Within the Hieratia, proclamations contained within <p> talismans
convey secret wisdom.
The Structure of HTML: Hylic
Links
"Hylic Links" are mystical portals connecting a word or phrase in one
segment of text to an entirely new segment of text which can provide
context. "Anchors" are sacred markers which hold these Hylic Links, in
place guiding the reader to specific points in the text.
The Structure of HTML:
Image Sorcery
<img src> talismans invoke "image sorcery" which causes visions to
appear in the form of GIF (Greater Icon of Faith) images.
The Corpus Spiritu Silenti (CSS)
The Corpus Spiritu Silenti (CSS) is the codex which denotes the
overarching structure of a Hieratic-Talismanic manuscript. While the
head (Praise "Bob"), body, Hieratia, Proclamations and other elements of
the manuscript contain power in their own right, the secret sigils and
incantations in the CSS further empower the Heiratic-Talismanic text.
However, novice practitioners should take care: proper invocation of the
CSS requires precise recitations and is fraught with peril. Minor
mistakes here can easily warp the fabric of reality, so tread
cautiously.
As a general rule, CSS is to be invoked sparingly, only to emphasize the natural beauty of the Hieratic-Talismanic text.
Jungian-Alchemical Valence Archetypal Script (JAVA Script)
Jungian-Alchemical Valence Archetypal Script (JAVA Script) can make
the syllables of an incantation dynamic and reactive, resulting in a
Hieratic-Talismanic manuscript that responds to the practitioner's
actions in ways that are otherwise impossible. However, improper use of
JAVA Script may open the practitioner to attacks from negative forces,
or may render a scroll powerless in the hands of a novice. While errors
involving the CSS may cause reality-bending effects, improperly invoked
JAVA Script can cause harm to the manuscript's reader. Use with
care.
JAVA Script should be invoked extremely rarely, only when the Magickal text's purpose specifically necessitates its inclusion.
